To turn on active scripting:
In Windows IE: Select Internet Options in the Tools menu. Select the Security tab.
In the box that says “Security level for this zone”, make sure the setting is on Medium, not High.
If you want to keep the high security level and activate scripting, click on Custom Level,
scroll down to Scripting and activate the three items there.
In Mac IE: Select Preferences under the Explorer or Edit menu. Under the Web Browser section, select Web Content.
In the “Active content” box, check the box next to Enable Scripting.
In Netscape (both Windows and Mac): Select Preferences in the Edit (or Netscape) menu. Select Advanced category.
Make sure Enable Javascript is selected in the Scripts & Plugins section.
In Safari (Mac): Select Preferences in the Safari menu. Choose the Security section.
Tick the box “Enable Javascript”.
